In Spring 2016, our Genus ABS facility at Dekorra, Wisconsin (US) welcomed a party of horticulture students from a nearby high school to plant trees around the site.
These trees will grow to form a windbreak and will also help to absorb carbon from around the site, as well as providing a screen to reduce light pollution for our neighbours. The exercise formed part of a range of activities we are undertaking to upgrade our ABS production estate around the world and reduce the environmental impact of our operations.
