As part of a long-term plan to expand its production capacity in North America, ABS is building new production facilities and laboratories at Leeds, Wisconsin. Due to its reliance on fossil fuels for energy generation, the state of Wisconsin has one of the highest electricity grid carbon intensity figures in the United States, so to support Genus’ ambitions for decarbonisation, the Company is installing photovoltaic panels at the site which will supply 377 kW of DC energy and remove pressure on the local power grid.
