The Genus ABS site in Dekorra, Wisconsin (U.S.) will soon be installing solar panels to reduce its use of electricity and help us cut our carbon footprint.
The panels will be attached to an electricity meter near one of the production barns and are expected to generate at least a third of the energy required by that part of the site each year. The installation forms the start of a wider programme for harnessing renewable energy at Dekorra: we aim to at least double the number of panels in use at the site over the next two years.
