Skills and experience
- Lucie is a seasoned legal leader who has significant experience in international commercial transactions, including government contracting, M&A, complex litigation and intellectual property. Lucie has spent over twenty years building and leading global legal teams, managing complex regulatory environments and working across diverse jurisdictions.
- Lucie qualified as an intellectual property litigator before moving in house to a variety of commercial legal roles at large Plcs including United Utilities and BAE Systems Saudi Arabia before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific as its UK Legal Director and then the European General Counsel of its Life Sciences Solutions Group. Lucie moved to Dura Line, part of the Orbia group of companies, in April 2020 as its first female Vice President and first General Counsel.
- Lucie has a degree in Law from King’s College, London and is a qualified solicitor
Career
- Joined Genus in March 2025, following five years as Vice President and General Counsel at Dura-Line, part of the Orbia group of companies. Prior to Dura-Line, Lucie led the UK legal function of Thermo Fisher Scientific and acted as the European General Counsel of the Life Sciences Solutions Group.
