We have introduced a new range of training materials focusing on safe animal handling, designed to increase our employees' understanding of the learned and instinctive behaviours of animals so they take informed decisions during their work.

The training materials were developed in-house using a combination of information from experts from around the business and commonly accepted scientific principles of animal behaviour. Three courses have been produced, translated and allocated to all our employees who handle cattle, bulls and pigs. By 30 June 2016, 94% of these employees had successfully completed this training.
